A repetitive chirp sounded from the blinking lights, a single arousal of these senses that extinguished the lingering silence. The orange bulb flashed on an off like a single paint stroke on an empty canvas, a first thought or perception of reality that wasn't felt for a millennium.
Like an instinct, a hand waved over the light to shut it off. Somehow knowing that this was necessary, contemplating of the likeliness that this void was another transition between dreams. A few seconds passed as a unintrusive blue light clicked on overhead, showering the small space with illumination, revealing the inside of this figurative cocoon.
"What is your name?" An automated voice chimed in, politely hesitating for a response.
"Uh..." A man's voice replied, a bit surprised by the sound of his own voice. Thousand's of questions were flooding into this reality all at once, a long line at the door that waited to be thoroughly discerned. One amalgamation of syllables pass
